Final exam guidelines

Material to be examined: From the textbook (R&G, edition 3):

• Chapters 12-20
• Chapter 25.1-3 (Data Warehousing)
• Chapter 26.1, 26.2.1, 26.3.1-2, 26.4.1 (Data Mining, Decision Trees, Association Rules)
• and all the corresponting material on the lecture foils ( 12Sorting.pdf to 26DataMining.pdf, included - no 'distributed db', no 'modern systems')

IMPORTANT additional information:

• No aids allowed (no books, no notes, no laptops) - only
  
• a calculator (strongly recommended) and 
• 2 letter-size pages (you may use all 4 sides)
• Please bring photo-id.
  

Reminders

• The exam questions will be very similar  to the exercises in the textbook, to the midterm questions and to the homework exercises.
• Solutions to the odd-numbered exercises of the textbook.
