Final exam guidelines
Material to be examined: From the textbook (R&G, edition
3):
- Chapters 12-20
- Chapter 25.1-3 (Data Warehousing)
- Chapter 26.1, 26.2.1, 26.3.1-2, 26.4.1 (Data Mining, Decision Trees, Association Rules)
- and all the corresponting material on the lecture foils ( 12Sorting.pdf to 26DataMining.pdf, included - no 'distributed db', no 'modern systems')
IMPORTANT additional information:
- No aids allowed (no books, no notes, no laptops) - only
- a calculator (strongly recommended) and
- 2
letter-size pages (you may use all 4 sides)
- Please bring photo-id.
Reminders
- The exam questions will be very similar
to the exercises in the textbook,
to the midterm questions and
to the homework exercises.
